NOTICE OF UPCOMING RATE ADJUSTMENT

Effective Date: January 1, 2027

To continue providing a safe, high-quality, and memorable experience for our campers, we are adjusting our camp youth registration fee.

This decision allows us to maintain our facility standards through ongoing maintenance and undertaking new improvements.

Updated Rate:

Youth Camper Rate: Current Rate = $20.00 New Rate = $22.00

Bookings for 2026 and 2027 made before December 31st, 2026 will receive the current rate of $20.00.

Bookings made after December 31st, 2026, will be at the new rate of $22.00.

The information below is part of the contract to rent the Lions Youth Camp. If at any time you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will gladly assist you.

  1. A rental deposit of $350 is required to secure a weekend booking at the Camp.
  • This deposit should be sent through e-transfer to our Treasurer. You will receive a confirmation email for your booking with all information to secure the deposit. Failure to do so may result in the loss of the booking.
  • This deposit will be applied as a credit to the amount owed by the Group Representative for the use of the Camp.
  • In the event that cancellation of the booking is made more than 60 days prior to the booked date, a full refund of the deposit will be made.
  • In the event that a booking is canceled less than 60 days prior to the booked date, the deposit shall be forfeit.
  1. The daily rental rate for the use of the Camp is as follows
  • $20 for bona fide youth groups and $30 for others. This charge is subject to change. Rental charges are subject to GST.
  • The daily minimum is $500 for youth groups and $750 for others.
  • Campers and RVs may park in the parking lot; however, they may not plug into the camp electricity and water supply. The daily rates specified in #2 above apply to those campers using the camp facilities but staying in a camper or RV in the parking lot.
  1. Conditions
  • A minimum stay of 2 days/nights is required. Any variation from this requirement shall be at the discretion of the Camp Registrar.
  • A damage deposit of $500 is required on arrival at the Camp. This deposit is refundable if no damage or deficiencies are found. This deposit can be held by cheque or e-transfer to the Treasurer.
  • BBQ rental is $25 per weekend (2 days) and $100 per week. If the gas barbecue is rented, an additional deposit of $100 is required and is refundable at check-out time if the equipment is found to be in good condition and clean.

Please note these rates may be changed without notice; however, the Youth Camp Committee undertakes to honour any commitment it makes on fees provided the commitment applies to the same calendar year in which it is made.
